We’re Hiring! Join Our Team as a Veterinary Surgeon 🐾
Are you looking for a veterinary role where you can genuinely enjoy your work, feel valued by your team, and still have time to enjoy life outside the practice?
Welcome to All Pets Veterinary Centre, an independently owned small animal practice in the heart of Jersey, where personalised patient care, team wellbeing, and a genuine love for the profession are at the centre of everything we do.
Emily and Ruth took over the practice in 2019 with one clear goal: to build the kind of workplace they would happily work in for the rest of their careers. A place where people feel supported, trusted, challenged and appreciated, and where everyone gets out the door on time to enjoy life beyond work.
Why Join All Pets?
We’re a close-knit, sociable team who genuinely enjoy working together. Our culture is collaborative, supportive and refreshingly drama-free. We’re proud of our high clinical standards, but equally focused on creating an environment that reminds people why they chose this profession in the first place.
It’s also an incredibly exciting time to join us, with practice expansion plans already on the horizon. We’re developing new purpose-built premises, including a dedicated dental suite with an IM3 dental system, and a cat clinic designed to further enhance the care and experience we provide for our feline patients. The expansion will also increase our consult rooms from two to three, significantly improving workflow and the day-to-day running of the practice for the whole team.
Our team regularly makes the most of everything Jersey has to offer, from sea swimming to dog walks, paddleboarding, karaoke, and charity adventures. Each year, we host both a summer and Christmas party, which are voted for and chosen by the staff!
The wellbeing of our team is always our top priority.
What Makes Us Different?
At All Pets, every voice matters.
We hold monthly “Health on the Twelfth” meetings where we block out the diary, share ideas over pizza and discuss everything from clinical standards to wellbeing and future plans. Decisions are genuinely collaborative, and everyone plays a part in shaping how the practice evolves.
We’re proud to combine the feel of a friendly local practice with the standards and equipment of a progressive, modern clinic, including digital and dental radiography, Sonoscape ultrasound scanners with Doppler and linear probes, a brand-new video endoscope, multiparameter monitoring, slit lamp and tonometry, alongside access to on-island CT and MRI.

About the Role:
This role would suit an experienced vet who genuinely enjoys surgery and is confident with a varied first opinion caseload, including routine and emergency soft tissue procedures. We’d love to find someone who is enthusiastic about helping to further grow the surgical side of the practice, while also supporting and encouraging colleagues in developing their own surgical confidence and skills.
As an island practice, continuity and community are hugely important to us, and our vets genuinely get to know their clients and patients over time.
More than anything, we’re looking for someone who fits our team and shares our values — someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive environment and is happy to get stuck into all aspects of first opinion practice alongside the rest of the team.
If surgery is your passion, even better. You’ll have the opportunity to take the lead on more complex surgical cases, with excellent facilities including brand-new surgical equipment and a TPLO kit. We’d also love someone who enjoys sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and mentoring others. That said, this is very much a hands-on GP role, and everyone is fully involved in the day-to-day caseload.
Wherever your clinical interests lie, we’ll fully support your development. Certificates are encouraged and funded, and we’re always happy to invest in equipment and services that help you grow in the areas you’re most interested in
